Anyone have any idea of what the fishing is like in thi sarea, looking for free areas, not stocked parks.

Also, am currently in Oz and am due for some new gear, would I be better of buying here or in LOS?

IMHO buy it in OZ because the selection is much wider. Also anything imported is real expensive in Thailand. If i had the choice id buy most of my gear in Holland or the UK.

The other part i cant help you never been there plus i prefer stocked parks. I do want to try fishing on the river here in BKK but everything is build full so there is almost no access to the river.
