I'm american and other than 6 nations, rugby is "GREEK" to me. Why does OZ use different scoring, 4 points try, 2 points conversion or penality? Just to be different?

And 1 point for a field goal..

Watch English Superleague and it's played under the same rules.. Some of us were lucky enough to grow up watching only that version of the game.

Look on youtube for AMNRL. They are playing it in your part of the world too. Just without the crowds.

I believe USA and Italy were the two qualifiers for the World Cup next year...
