Featured Replies

If I have my UK mobile phone unlocked can I get a SIM card to connect to a Thai network? How easy is it? any problems with type of tramsmisssion, voltage etc? which is the best network?

If its a GMS phone no problem. Simply go to MBK get a sim card an number and start talking.

A shopping center, otherwise known as Mahboonkrong Center, that has an entire floor of mobile phone dealers in it.

bear in mind that the networks in thailand use both 900 and 1800 mhz

so ensure that your phone is a dual band phone,

Ive bought a couple of phones from overseas to thailand

and they have been locked. Alot of shops in thailand

now have facilities to unlock phones and will also

sell you a sim card to start talking.

Getting the imei number changed in the uk can

now be difficult, unless you have friends with

the software in phone shops.
