Finding Haas

Featured Replies

There was a thread a few months ago on weather Haas has become outdated (specifically the dictionary). I have still been actively searching for Haas books in Thailand with no success yet. Does anyone know where her "Thai Reader" would be available? I cannot order online for various reasons.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks Meadish....works for me :o I deleted that site from my bookmarks because it went down for a while a couple months ago....I thought it was gone for good. I never knew they had the Thai Reader on there though.

Thanks again!

Upon closer inspection, those pages are just garbled text. This usually means I need to switch my encoding, but after trying pretty much every encoding option (Thai, Unicode-8;16, some western ones, etc...) it is still all garbled....what type of encoding does that site use?

Or is the some other reason for this problem?

Nevermind that last post...after further exploration I discovered you need the special fonts for that website installed to view the text. Now it works.

Thanks.

For what it is worth, my ancient copy has ISBN # 0-87950-264-9

It seems to still be available from their website.
