What sw do you have loaded on the DBox?

What sw have you loaded to support the CA

Is this a new problem, or just that you have never tried the CA before?

When you say that you want to watch Thaicom, what channels are you interested in?

From other discussions in the section it is apparent that True will be tying their card

to their own box, and they will not work with a Dreambox or other decoder

My somewhat hooky second card (free to air channels only) stopped working after the latest software update by True (so I'm no longer doing anything illegal).

I know True were in the process of updating their encryption system as well as marrying the card to the decoder, I suspect you have been a victim of this upgrade.

We also have the dreambox HD and have no problems whatsoever getting all of the channels available, even the hd ones of course. I keep the dreambox updated with all the latest software so there are no problems through true our end. Maybe it just needs upgrading which you can do yourself of course by downloading the software and putting it on a flash drive, inserting it in to the USB port on the dreambox and then letting the dreambox update automatically from the software. You will then need to rescan the channels in order to receive the new channels.

I get a bit confused with the dreambox thing, are they cheaper than true or free...? sorry op ...bit off topic

Dreambox is a receiver brand. They run a flavour of Linux and can do some clever (illegal) things that we mustn't discuss smile.png

EDIT Just using one to watch True with a genuine card is of course perfectly legal :)

A NO CA error means that the boot loader has failed or is corrupt I am looking for a person who can repair this error as my laptop does not have a null modem output and I can not FTP the box

I have the same box, almost every time there is power cut that results re-boot i get error that the transponder is not there and no signal.

Don't know what's going on but sometimes it comes back after reboot from menu and sometimes needs few re-boots to get it right. Couple of times had to leave it to cool down for a couple of hours and after switching it on all was good again.

Maybe similar issue with the CA error ?

The error messages "No CA FOUND" means you have a clone DM800 and you have loaded the original DMM software which will NOT work on clones and gives this error message at boot up in the little LCD screen. Ask your dealer where you brought the box, what old clone software you can load in it to make it work again and what second stage loader you should be using.

No your issue is a bouquet issue, incorrectly setup for "startup" .
