Tim is on Roids and/or HRT probably from roid abuse and the complete lack of balls.

Now someone is obsessing about the size of Tim's balls. LOL.

He's nearly 50. Most people are starting to get low in testosterone at that age.

Not sure about most. I know people even when cycling AAS or PHs correctly and with great PCTs still have shut down issues at thus age. I am 750 ish range at 44. I do see anti aging endo for DSM, glutathione, glutamate, myers, and a diet optimized for me. Dint always eat clean though, but being natural and taking care of oneself can help avoid TRT. If and when my IGF-1 and test level drop, I will be first in line for GH and test therapy.

I get sick of it too, I have been into the weights since I was 13, never taken anything mire than protein but it winds me up too when everyone associates weights with roids and every crime by someone with muscles is roid rage. Haha, I know some scrappy little dudes that will go up to any body. These dudes scare me more than the big slow guys, although one of my buds who is stuck on test sus is like a 3rd or 4th degree black belt and has a build like a fire hydrant. He is like a pit bull that doesn't feel pain when hit. This dude Tim though takes things to a whole different level. I am sure professional MMAs and etc could drop him, but not your average street fighter or wanna be bad arse. Kind of like Kimbo the street fighter who everyone thought was so bad arse and he couldn't even take out dudes trying to get spot in UFC at one point. Not sure what his skill level is now though after much formal training. Anyway, Tim could drop me quickly if he could catch me or corner me and yeah, I would still be myself around him, break out the Don Julio and have a big time. I like self made people and am one myself.

Why is it when someone has a "hobby" of Bodybuilding it has to be deemed part of the crime ? I never see headlines saying "Twice a week Golfer" slices up girlfriend. Or "local pub darts player" shoots friend in the head.

It never ever happens. Body building is a pastime that is enjoyed by millions of perfectly sane people all over the world. But if they are even suspected of a criminal act it becomes part of the reason somehow that this might be the root cause.

No one ever associated Charles Atlas with criminal activities. He was for decades the embodiment of health and fitness. I know many modern Bodybuilders "cheat" and use drugs. I was a bodybuilder for years. I never took drugs and in my prime had a reasonable physique, nothing like the grotesque over blown drug induced Mr Olympias or Mr. Universe of today.

I never commited a criminal act or even thought about such a thing. I cycle a lot these days some times play golf and swim.......So if Idid commit a crime would the headline be "Former Bodybuilder from 20 years ago", "Keen Cyclist" or "A man who sometimes swims in a Jomtien Condo pool" goes on a mad murderous rampage due to being slagged off on Thai Visa.......? answers on a postcard.

The reason is that when a big, muscled person commits a crime they immediately assume he's a hot-head on steroids.

Golfers or darts players etc look like ordinary Joes - bodybuilders stand out.

In reality, serious bodybuilders don't have a lot of spare energy once they leave the gym. They spend most of their spare time eating and sleeping. After 2 hours in the gym I certainly wouldn't have the energy to be trolling up and down the beach looking for someone to stab. Maybe Mr Tim had taken some time off the gym.

I guess in this instance it's something to do with the fact that he has covered himself in tattoos also. It's rather like a girl in a low cut top complaining that people look at her cleavage.

You can't brand yourself as a brainless thug and then complain about being called a brainless thug.

Test declining by age 50 is what I meant. Not necessarily low - but on the way down. The whole idea of TRT is to prevent aging by keeping the levels optimal.

Tattoos are a cultural thing. People love tattoos in Thailand. I've got a friend who's entire body is tattooed and he gets a lot of favourable attention from Thais who want to check them out closely. Tim also gets favourable attention for his tattoos. Tattoos do not scare Thai people.

In the Philippines you'd be in good company as they have a similar attitude to you being a predominantly Christian country where religious bigots abound.

Tim is from Maori heritage. They traditionally tattoo their bodies, but the British settlers considered them savages and slaughtered them.

Bigotry is a dangerous thing. I don't have a tattoo on my body but I certainly don't judge people who do.

Depends if you are a person who is prone to violence or not. Being the most physically aggressive, or violent does not make you right. The point really was that there is no knowing who the people behind these nick names are in real life. You wanted proof that I'm Tim - or not - but probably not willing or interested to do the foot work to find out.

From a cursory read of some of my previous posts you would have soon learned that I'm married to a Filipino and live a quiet, normal life in Pattaya - apart from going to the gym most days, that is. You would have also learned that I'm a non-drinker from some recent posts just this week. I'm quite boring actually - why else would I have posted so often on this forum since joining in 2006? It's a habit I really try to shake - even asked for a one month self-imposed ban once. Sure, there are some posters with a worse problem, but 9000 posts is getting up there.

I suppose the first step to solving a problem is to admit I have one...

Edit: Just read dude vouching for you. Cool. A little confusing why so interested in taking up for him, but understand the free time thingy. I don't drink either. I am a professional and bug wave surfer and have lost several life long friends in this sport recently to drug and alcohol issues. I respect people who don't drink so that is cool and I saw that Tim didn't drink and I think that is cool.

I am not really a mouthy or violent person. Just a screwed up sense of humor and like messing with people around me. Me and my friends are always busting each other's balls and don't mean shiiyte by it.

I’ve seem Tim Sharkey many times on beach road. Doesn’t seem to bother people, but is marked a target to others.

A couple of ladyboys were throwing bottles and cursing at him one evening at soi10 on beach road. One stepped close behind him with a bottle Tim turned quickly and the ladyboy dashed into the street almost getting rundown by an oncoming vehicle.

Another time I overheard Tim talking to his friend about a young Thai man trying to snatch his gold necklace from his neck.

Time chuckled that thai man’s face will never be the same again.

While it is (probably true) that many/most body builders do NOT use (or more correctly misuse) steroids, the simple fact is that a number do.

Its also well documented that steroid abuse can lead to increased aggression which can result in irritability, stress and violence.

So, its not the dedicated, steroid or other drug free bodybuilders that lead to the stereotype - its the other ones. Unfortunately perhaps, the many get tarred with the brush of the few.

One interesting side point is that steroid abuse leads to hightened sex drive and libido functions.

So, in this case we have a clearly bulked up guy with a well documented list of "conquests" who stabbed some one. Sound familiar?

Even more so, the quotes that stand out from this thread are along the lines of he is a nice guy, BUT I would not want to cross him - whys that? because these people have seen what happens to people who "upset" they guy?

Before we settle for "he is a big cuddly misunderstood teddy bear", lets not forget this is a guy who threatens to beat women, laughs at having made someone unrecognisable and recently stabbed a guy probably a quarter of his size and weight class.
