Does Honda Extend Warranty To Second Hand Bikes?

Featured Replies

We bought a second hand Honda 125 that is less than a year old and the battery had died. Will Honda cover things like this under warranty or does the warranty only apply to the first owner for these small bikes?

My friend bought a used CBR250 that was a few months old and the warranty was transferred to the new owner, but maybe small bikes are different?

My Dad has asked Yamaha about his small second hand Mio but they said its not covered, although I wouldn't be surprised if Honda had a different policy.

battery would have only been warranteed for 3 or 6 months.

The warranty is on the bike not the owner. Yamaha are telling your dad bullshit.

just check if its 1 year or 2 year warranty.

also battery are like 300baht.

Does anyone know where to find any info online about how these warranties work? Which parts are covered, and for how long, and hopefully showing that the warranty covers the bike for that amount of time, despite a change in ownership? It would just be nice to confirm these things.
