Reverse Charge Calling From Thailand To Overseas

Featured Replies

Scoured the internet and the streets all day trying to figure out how to make a reverse charges call from thailand to australia and still can't find an answer.

Does anybody know? I am staying in Patong, Phuket.

it said somewhere on the net that there was some kind of call centre near the beach road post office (most post offices in thailand for that matter) but when i went in and asked them they had no clue whatsoever.

my mobile is with 12call and when i asked them they said they do it but only to other 12call mobiles... not international.

apparently what i need to do is dial 100 to get the operator and then they organise it. yet im not sure how to do this from a public phone and how big of a phone card i will need. also i read different colored public phones are for different things.

I also read there is some kind of call centre you can do it from in phuket town on phang nga rd but thats to far away really.

although i have since found out that if you dial 00500 before the number it is only 7 baht a minute (12call) it would still be nice to know how to make a international reverse charge call incase of emergency or something one day.

any ideas?
