Hello everyone,

God willing, I am taking my Thai girlfriend to meet the family in England next month.

I am sure many of you have experienced the UK visa application process first hand... I have been involved in lawsuits with less paperwork.

Anyhow, now we can to the question..... what is the difference difficulty / fees wise of applying for a longer multiple entry tourist visa over a shorter one? It would be great if it was a long time before we have to go through all this visa stuff again.....

Thanks!

If it is her first one, I would suggest a 6th month, then after a few more applications you could do the longer ones, but remember it only means she can spend no more than the allowed time in the UK per year, which I think is 180days per year.
