I'm looking for apartmets/condos in Bangkok. A few of the more pricy places have quoted signing fees, some as high as one month on a year contract.

Is this legal? Normal? Normal, but too high? I should look elsewhere?

If there's already a post on this and someone can direct me (directly) to it, would appreciate it.
