Victoria'S Secret Shops In Thailand

Dunno if it's new or not, but noticed a real VS shop at the the airport the other day. Acccessible only once you made it past Immigration into the duty free area for an intl flight.

Real VS, well, kind of. Real VS, but very limited selection. Ny wife went inside to check and said they had panties but NO bras... Amazing!!!

Store clerk told my wife only other VS location is somewhere in Pattaya. None in BKK city.

Oh ya..Prices for panties, around 500 baht.

Location down toward the domestic terminal end of the intl terminal area.

Interesting. Wifey loved VS when we lived in the US. They had XXS! Which meant she didn't have to shop in the teen section for clothes.

I checked the store finder for VS and nothing is listed outside the US/Canada. Too bad it's past immigration!

Back from our trip... Photo of the airport shop below...

As you can see, they appear to be long on the lotions and such, and short on the clothing items...

I can't imagine why... Wondering if it has anything to do with Thailand's high import duties on clothing.

Just ordered a shipment of lingerie for the wife from VS in the U.S. when they were having a good online sale. The price to buy there and ship here will be less than the price of the same items from the airport shop.

I wish some TV member from the Pattaya area would chime in on whatever's going on there with a VS shop in Pattaya... Be interesting to see if it's the same or different than the airport shop... though presumably... at least it would be open to all instead of just those making international flights.

I would guess it would be in King Power. I haven't been to Central Festival in several weeks, but there wasn't on there. I did send an email to VS asking about their plans for Thailand. I have an account with them, so hope they reply.

I've never done any business with them at the airport or elsewhere, given their bad reputation, usually bad prices and spotty past with the alleged shoplifting scams and such...

I always thought you couldn't purchase from them unless you can an intl flight reservation. But someone told me lately re their shop in BKK at the Pullman King Power Hotel near Victory Monument that that shop actually is open to the public... And then, some things inside anyone can purchase, and other things require the intl flight. Anyone confirm/explain about that?

It's on Suk on the beach side of the road just before Klang as you are headed towards BKK. Here's a thread discussing it. Not a glowing report.
