I've just come back from a 4 day trip to find an abomination in my back yard. I've had to replace my patio (which to be honest wasn't done to an acceptable standard) due to flood related subsidence. I expanded the patio and had it supported and thought I'd go for a nice polished concrete look with inset tile design.

I have a lopsided, peeling mix of colours with half submerged tiles. I'm prepared to dig up the top layer and start again as it's not worth polishing what is out there but would appreciate any advice if anyone has done or seen a decent job - otherwise I'll have to just tile the lot.

And to top it all off, I had sprinklers laid into the garden (yes I'm that lazy) which half work and half are pathetic, I have to turn them on in a sequence, not all at the same time. Should I buy a bigger/better pump or buy another pump/reservoir system?

TIA for any help
