Transfering At Bkk From Tg International To Tg Domestic.

Featured Replies

I have a friend who is arriving with TG international and has a connecting TG flight to HKT. ( Phuket )

he does not have checked luggage and should have both BP.

I know that he has to do immigration at Bangkok.

Can he go to the transfer area ( at concourse A,B, C ) and do immigration there. ( I don’t know if there are immigration possibilities at the transfer desk area ? )

Or does he has to do the immigration at the big immigration halls and go to the departure level to continue his domestic flight.

As his connection time is only 1.5 hrs I hope that he does not have to do immigration at the main halls.

Thanks for all advise and information.

Check with Thai Airways, as far as I know it is possible he goes to immigration at Phuket. If not, Thai airways groundstaf will help him speed-up the process to get him to his connecting flight.

When I transited Bangkok to Chiangmai on TG last December, I went to the transfer desk. The immigration clearance is behind the transfer desk. Immediately after immigration clearance, I entered the door behind into the domestic terminal and boarded the internal flight.

If in doubt, check with the TG transfer desk in BKK airport.

Immigration has to be done at first point of entry. ( Bangkok in this case )

Thanks for the excellent link, just i was looking for.
