BREAKING NEWS British lawyer latest to fall in Laos alcohol poisoning tragedy
My cure from methanol poisoning was three rounds of hemodialysis. That removed the methanol from my blood. Labeling in Thailand needs to be improved. When tins of methanol are simply labeled “Alcohol” disastrous mistakes can happen. -

Jieng Jai market and TOPS "Green" - one expat's review
One doesn't visit JJ Market for the TOPS outlet. One goes to buy fresh, organic produce at significantly reduced prices from what one can obtain at TOPS (or any other grocery store), directly from the vendors. One goes to JJ Market for the excellent butter chicken served by the "gai guy", the freshly baked pastries sold by small business owners, the coffee from the small trucks set up for a caffeine fix, and - if you need to -the short walk to LOTUS to pick us some household staples. Once again, the OP delivers a clueless and tone deaf message to the forum.....with his lone fan massaging his thighs in agreement. (Nice job, JT, as expected.) -

US Citizen, and need to register to vote?
Bar Night – Post-Election Thoughts and Future Planning Please join Democrats Abroad Thailand for a Bar Night, 6:30 to 9:00 pm, Tuesday, 26 November 2024 at O’Sheas Rooftop. Location: Sukhumvit 33/1, Khwaeng Khlong Tan Nuea, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110, Bangkok, near Phrom Phong BTS Station. (Google Map) Election Day did not go the way we hoped, but now we all need to work together to double down on our efforts to help Democrats across the country stop the Republican Agenda. We also need to start planning now to take back the House in 2026 and increase representation at local, county and state levels. Democrats Abroad also offers a number of opportunities to get involved with advocacy across a wide array of issues. There are various global task forces and caucus groups whose specific topics are likely to interest to DAT Members: Senior Caucus, Taxation Tax Force, Medicare Portability Task Force, Women's Caucus, Veterans & Military Families Caucus, Environment & Climate Crisis Council, (etc.). This Bar Night will give a chance to all get together to commiserate and grieve, but also steel our resolve to keep the fight going, and proactively and effectively plan our next steps. So please join us. Democrats Abroad Thailand
