Poster puts in "Secondhand Tyres" into the topic search, it comes up with a link 6 years old, so he puts in a post, then another post and then its closed because its too old,

So whats the point of having a Topic Search option??

Rather than dredging up old threads with may contain incorrect information it's far better to start a new thread and, if you feel it's needed, include a link to the ancient thread.

You may also consider reading the Forum Rules, particularly the one forbidding the discussion of moderation in the open forum.

EDIT. I just had a look at that dredged thread, neither of the new posts added any value whatever.
