Ryanair painted one of their aircraft with "Hertz" rent a car all over it, I recall it cost something like 250K USD for that privelage. Imagine the waiting area and the tears when they swap the aircraft and all those 8 years crying.

I think its a bit of fun. I flew on the Etihad decorated Man City plane and instead of seeing all Etihad pictures everywhere, you see Man City pictures instead. I just hope City stuff UTD now.

If the advertising dollars help keep prices down,

I do not care what is painted on the outside, as

long as the plane does crash, they can paint it

red with polka dots.

Believe BR had Hello Kitty livery in the past, very successful plying Japan-Taiwan routes. I think there was a lot more branding inside, luggage tags, boarding passes, etc.

NH has some Pokemon liveried aircraft.

JL's got a ton of special-liveried aircraft; I saw a 777 ("Cop10/Cop5:JA8984) with a green "rising sun" (designating an Eco-friendly approach?) on the tail last week at NRT.

My wife is "Hello Kitty" mad so now she's off to Taiwan to buy a plane to go with the several hundredweight of <deleted> she already has as she just saw this post.

Cheers.
