December 26, 200520 yr Hi! I will be looking for a flat or apartment to share in Bangkok soon, after December. If you have a room or anything then let me know. Thanks!
December 27, 200520 yr You can contact me on 09 1240664, or PM me here. Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> maaaaaaaaaate. Flats and flatmates isn't how it is done here in da BKK... you can take that right back to Westport Mostly you can get a studio for much cheaper; 3.000 - 10,000baht a month dependin on location so no need for stinky feet flatmates. If you feel the need to live with other people, then maybe guesthouse is a better solution.... but otherwise easier to get a room alone. There are also a LOT of dodgy people in THailand, and IMHO there are a ton of dodgy foreigners here who would quite enjoy stealing all your stuff and waltzing back to their country on the day you aren't around. Hence, studio is a safer option.
December 29, 200520 yr Amen Steve. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does anyone ever say to you 'burdee burdee burdee bur' like that chef on the muppets? Every time I see your name, I feel the need to do so.
December 29, 200520 yr Author Haha, OK then you girls and guys, Perhaps i should explain a little more. I have been resident in Bangkok 3 years. I have a place at the moment at it's all very nice and cosy, but I would consider doing what some of my friends have done and sharing a very much larger place. The result is the same cost per person, but immensely larger living areas and great sociability if you find the right people/place. Obviously I am going to look very carefully at who replies. And I am NOT looking for a Farang Kee Noc flatmate, nor certain other types. You, if replying, would need very solid credentials. A good sense of humour is paramount also! Steveromagnino IMO I completely agree with you. I may flat with one of my friends when he returns instead, but why not test the water in the meantime . Cheers. Let me know if you have a flat. And have a great New Year !
