They were backpacker looking folks with the usual wooden bits and pieces with them. I think they were from the Indian continent, not that it matters. However Red, when they found out that they had to pay 500baht tax they flipped, saying they did not have any money left, how can they pay? I siggested they go see managemnt as the poor girl behind the desk can't help them. Needless to say I ended up at another counter as it was just going to take these guys too long to understand that they had no hope arguing their case with e tax girl But to be honest, I travel a fair bit, I have several gold freq. flyer cards and Thailand is the only place I still need to pay depature tax (passenger service charge) at the airport rather than having it included on the ticket, why is that?
