May 6, 201213 yr With the disgraceful price of short trips in Patong Beach being so expensive , I think instead of catching tuk-tuks , I'd prefer to find where I can get my manual Wheelchair converted to electric! Someone mentioned that the Lion's Club had a program to help poor Thai folks upgrade their WCs free and it was in Phuket City . I'm not looking to get it done for free , but affordable ! Being I fit into the poor category more likely then the rich!! Any info on where I can find the shop doing these upgrades , will be greatly appreciated and vastly improve my ability to live a better lifestyle ,Thx

May 12, 201213 yr Author Anyone recommend a good shop that builds sidecars for motorbikes , they might be able to electrify my WC
May 13, 201213 yr There was bloke that I used to see in some of the bars in Chalong and Rawai. He had a side-car attached to his Honda Dream with a ramp that could be lowered. He would use this to get his WC into the side-car, swing across to the motorbike's seat and drive the motor-bike that had had it's controls modified so that they were all used by hand.
