Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, When In Thailand ?

Featured Replies

Does anybody know when Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" will become available in Thailand ?

Thanks,

rudi

Did you want the WiFi only version? Or the 3G version? Did you want an official localized product or grey market?

The WiFi only version just hit the big retailers in the U.S. this past Monday (May 14); $399.99.

I suspect it may take a few months to get a localized version here as it will require docs, packaging and a localized version of Android 4.0.x for the tablet.

Well, the reason I was asking here, was because I wanted an official, Thai version of the tablet, with 3G.

I know how/where to buy gray market units, thanks ! (Ebay would be a place to start)

Thanks,

rudi

I think any 3G versions might be a bit of a wait? Maybe September? Assuming the local sub. decides to launch it here? Maybe they'll just go with the Note 10.1? I haven't even seen any launch/availability dates for the 3G version.

FWIW, you can buy grey-market imports here in Thailand perhaps with less bother, and at a lower price, than on eBay. (Assumes you would buy on eBay/U.S. and then try to arrange shipping.)
