Samsung Galaxy Note: New Lower Price?

Featured Replies

I see that the Galaxy Note is now selling for as low as $499 in America. Anyone know if and when we can expect the same in Thailand?

I am looking for the unlocked international version with the updated software (ICS, Premium Suite, etc.).

Thanks.

Some people have reported real, legitimate N7000 pricing of 15,900 in MBK, but these are "imports". A family friend's counter shop can get one of these for 16,500.

I don't think you're going to find a unit with an official version of ICS, although that shouldn't be a show-stopper as there will be an update soon.

AFAIK, the current release is 2.3.6

Expansys USA have the N7000 for $499, I believe they offer free shipping and do not charge sales tax (except for shipment to Illinois).

When i looked recently the Galaxy Note was selling for 22,500 baht in Pattaya, which is way above the UK price or the $500 quoted above. Why is that when the Samsung Galaxy 2 is about the same price as overseas.

Just lost my Note :(

Need to buy a new one before Mrs MaiDong finds out, how much am I looking to pay? I found them for ฿18,990 at a popular online shop but I think their prices are sometimes a little higher than in the shops in Bangkok, urgent advice needed :(
