Does The New Vigo Came With Bed Liner?

Featured Replies

just curious as mine came without any bed liner and cost 5000 baht. have i been ripped off?

I think it all comes done to your "bargaining" skills, if you get it for free or you have to pay for it. As always TiT.

(As for the price of Bed Liner other members will chip in as I never had to pay for it, so can't comment wink.png)

oh i see. mrs is making fuss, kind of annoying actually since our neighbor got it free apparently.

when i bought it, only the first class insurance and registration was given free

ooh sorry to hear that, but as there is nothing more you can do about it, you maybe can sweet talk the Mrs and say something like "the normal price for original "Toyota" bed-liner is xxxx (make it a bit more then the 5000 Baht you paid), so we still got a sweet discount wink.png

And hope she never finds out whistling.gif

It's all about bargaining ,got mine free along with insurance and a few other extras after saying I would go somewhere else

I got freebies 4 years ago when I got my 3.0G inc bed liner 3M film, mats, rear seat, chrome bling bits for the door sills, full tank of juice, window shades and 1st class ins.

Usually a free item. Mrs is right. sad.png

Is that the Mrs "loss of face'biggrin.png

looked like i lost quite a deal. oh well, but was informed by afew others was due to me paying in full instead of using finance

Right now, Thailand is running 2nd to Indonesia in new car sales by volume and due to the lingering effects of the floods on the parts suppliers, demand is outstripping supply. So if you pay less than 25% down, have to have a co-signer and take the 60-month finance, you are lucky to get the bloody truck let alone the fancy trimmings for free. The free first class insurance is part of most manufacturers sales pitches so not uniquely a freebie. If you are a return customer, or paying a bigger down, or financing for a shorter term, you may wrangle a full tank, carpets, tint and/or a bedliner out of them, but it will be like pulling teeth in the current market.

Paying in full with cash* ought to get you free tint, carpets, bed liner, full tank of propulsion fluid, a date with the pretty cashier, a massage from the dealership owner's wife and tickets for a weekend in Samui for two!

* It will probably get you right to the top of the wait-list as well.
