I am having trouble finding rentals 3-6 months in the Phuket area. Mr Roomfinder has tons of Bkk ones but no southern. Can anyone steer me to some web sites (have searched but came up with very little). Yes I know I can just "turn up" and buy the Phuket Gazette and go from there but I would prefer to have something lined up before arriving. Any help appreciated.

Try www.phuket-town.com for your search. This is the main home page for all things "Phuket". One of the categories is a real estate section that has numerous sites with pics and prices for all areas of Phuket. A portion of the realtors are a bit high end with villas and estate homes. Obviously, there are many homes for sale, but each realtor has a portion of their site for both long term and short term rentals.

I am relocating (retiring) at the end of this year and have received regular updates and replies from local realtors. They are very helpful.
