Stupid question really, but I do hate it when players do this kind of shit, I used to love it when other teams did stuff like that, Graham said all he had to do was post it in the dressing room.

Probably because Chicarito is a nickname you'd expect for a ten year old, not an adult. <deleted>..little pea!!! Lad needs a belt round the head and told to man upbiggrin.png

I realise that's a nickname, but if he prefers to be called little pea, surely that's his choice?

No-one objected to Pele. wink.png

I didn't say it wasn't. Just suggesting its one thing to be known as "the beast" for example but to call yourself "little pea" makes him sound like an inadequate little tosser

I do know what you mean and I really don't like his kneeling etc before kick off, surely he could do that in the dressing room in private.

Yes - that picture makes me chunder too. Triumphalism, even after a game, but especially not before, is not Wenger or Arsenal style - the German press must have stitched up our boche!

Surely it is internet photo-shopped nonsense. No?

Difficult to know what team we will see United field. If Raphael is injured can't see Valencia getting much service from Smalling down the flank Valencia/Raphael seem to have great understanding. Smalling is not a rb strictly a centre back for me.

Quite a few doubtfulls Carrick, Rapahel , Evans,Wellbeck. I think Moyes will go defensive and will be satisfied with a point ,not the MU way but this squad is not strong.

Amazing that they can't replace a Paul Scholes

Fletcher got 90 mins during the week and good to see Will Keane back, brother of Michael, and before a bad injury was considered to be a future first teamer.

Stability returning as all real Man Utd fans said all along… biggrin.png Still a long way to go though with many twists and turns ahead. Good result if not a great game ( but it was for me )

Newcastle, Sunderland and United proving top teams can be beaten on the day….

...and this weekend's end results were the best possible for the mighty 'pool.

Don't forget the mighty 'Saints'! Probably the future of 'English' football!

Coupla thoughts from Shinji:

Ozil cheap imitation Kagawa.

Zero play-a-make..... I no surprise if he made in China!

I say "Shame for Arsenal Ozil & Cazorla no play.

Moyes say "but Shinji they ar..." He realise it sarcasm of Kagawa.

All team laugh...Humour!

Great win by the lads, 100% effort from the team and the fans to beat a very good arsenal side, league starting to take shape, all those that say united are finished have another thing coming.

Rooney was immense and so was jones and i cannot understand why jones was booked for a clash of heads?

I thought Man U made Arsenal look quite 'ordinary', but no doubt the gunners will bounce back.

Fantastic from United, from the first whistle they hounded Arsenal who looked shell shocked by the atmosphere. Arsenal could have snatched a draw in the second half but overall we deserved to win.

We need to kill teams off but to win is everything in the big games and we managed to do that, I can now see us kicking on and being top by christmas after the distraction of Europe and the Carling cup is over.

Sign Leighton Baines and Yohan Cabaye in January and all things are possible. wink.png

So you regard Arsenal as a bigger threat than Man U longer term? Would have thought a draw would have been ideal for you guys.

I thought Smalling had a good game and supported Valencia at every opportunity,i think it is understandable not amazing that they can't replace a player like Scholsey .....he was a bit special wasn't he.

Jones was fantastic yesterday in two positions

Whilst yesterday was a real fillip for your team I thought you won it by excellent shape and performance at the back, forcing Arsenal to repeatedly play along the line. I still don't think your midfield is good enough to get you the title.

Not sour grapes - I have never been in the "Man U are sunk" brigade and I have repeatedly said or implied that I don't think Arsenal have the depth to win the title (and incidentally I don't think Wenger is realistic enough about that to fix it sufficiently thoroughly in the transfer window).

I think Moyes may be realistic enough to recognise that Fellaini was just a last ditch elastoplast job and not the answer to your midfield issue.

Immense indeed. One of the best performances i think he has ever given. There were times when my brain quite literally couldn't keep up with how he seemed to be at two ends of the pitch at the same time. What an engine beneath all those fatty layers.

Thought Smalling also had a superb game. Helped keep us in it towards the end there.

And for all Arsenal's possession, they really didn't do a lot with it. 2 shots on target, same as us. Only real bright spot for them i thought was Sagna.

I thought our defence did pretty well actually against a sprightly Wayne and the lurking shark, considering Mertesacker has been one of its lynchpins and Vermaelen had previously looked out of sorts when played. I was also surprised that Wilshere seemed more refreshed than pre-injury.

Midfield looked tired and jaded. Just hoping that not many of them have to do a full 90 minutes in the international break.

Well we definitely didn't benefit from having two of our most in-form players missing at the last minute. Van Pursestrings was unimpeded which is uncharacteristic.

I have to say I was looking forward to a cracking game but it turned out to be a dour affair, and we just didn't seem able to lift ourselves.

I suppose winning three tough games in a week is a stretch, so there's nothing to criticise, and other results mean the damage was limited.

But that bench.... ouch. I hope the ink is already drying on the chequebook for a new striker and a centre half.

The playoffs are a two legged affair so it will be 180+ for those involved.

Yep - two friendlies mostly for the other teams too. Not thinking straight.

The horse whisperers will be out in force trying to persuade international team managers to go gently. Arsene is probably the leader of the pack nowadays (but is SAF taking any extra-curricular involvement these days one wonderssmile.png )

Well here's hoping BFG is stuck on the bog and misses the Germany trip. He's been superb recently and could probably do with a week off.
