I am openning a fast food thai restaurant in Guildford Surrey.

It is a successful franchise idea from Canada that I am bringing over.

I would like to know good places to post job ads....since I am looking for a Thai WOK chef!

Do you want to hire a cook who already lives and works in the UK? Advertise in British papers; contact job placement agencies.

Do you want to hire a cook who currently lives in Thailand? Does he need to be able to read and write English? There are newspapers published in Thai and in English where you could advertise.

Good luck getting a work visa, if the UK is anything like the States you will have one heck of a time. We also operate a Thai restaurant and tried going this route and it was a no go.
