More weird if I stop the video, sound continues, even more crazy , I slide the video back to the beginning and yet the music continues as if no slide back plus the video starts for the beginning while the first sound plays in overlay .

No, I don´t have second player open.

You may have a driver problem.. Uninstall the driver and reinstall.

Check your cpu usage, too.

:-) my computer knowledge cannot be underestimated. Tried to find sound card, or the right driver.

CPU might be the problem. Recently a warning comes up the Firefox is using say over 300mb, what for, I wonder.

I may have 6 Tabs open, but only news sites. The only other program open may be MS Words Starter, unrelated to Firefox.

1 more observation= skype tells me laptop is running slow, however only firefox is open with 3 tabs.

and yet, Skype is crystal clear, does that eliminate some of the possible problems?

Any speculation, why firefox is warning over 300mb usage with only 4 taps open?

PS New observation = playing MYSPACE , no echo wonderful sound.

Do you by chance have an Firefox Add On installed called Autopager? A problem with this add on describes your problem exactly.

Conclusion I love the autopager and will use chrome for videos
