90 Day Report Or Visa Run?

Featured Replies

I think I know the answer but would just like clarification.

I live in Phuket and will be in completely different parts of Thailand a week either side of my next scheduled 90 day report.

I believe that you can only report at your local office. If so, I assume the easiest option, as I have a multiple re-entry permit, is to do a visa-run. Not a problem as I'll be visiting both Chiang Rai and Aranyaprathet during that time so a border hop will be easy.

Is this correct, or is there a better suggestion?

Most offices allow reporting by mail, this would be easier and cheaper than a visa for another country.

In addition, it is now allowed to report 15 days early.
