Thailand's Got T!Ts !.

Wow, what a hissy fit! Its not up to her who the other judges choose to put through. That's why they have a judges PANEL, to get a diverse group of acts going through. Pretty childish and disrespectful of her to act in that way just because she didn't believe the performance was worthy.

Yup, I concur. The woman judge is highly unfair. On last weeks episode was a guy who had iguanas and tookays in his act. The bitchy woman disqualified him because she didn't like the lizards and was freaking out / jumping all over the stage. The performer got a raw deal because of her insecurities.

Thanks for posting that Richard S.

I love how the woman judge says she can not do like that in Thailand and she walks away! laugh.png

Publicity stunt obviously but utterly bizarre nevertheless

The female judge has obviously never opened her eyes when passing a massage parlor, a red light district or a Karaoke bar. Never noticed Democrat politicians rape a journalist and has never heard of bizarre murders. It does not happen in Thailand. I like the painter she has real balls.

Can someone explain to me how the young women in Silom bared their breasts during Songkran and were hunted down and fined for their inappropriate behavior but this young women can go on national TV before and audience of hundreds and strips and it appears to be acceptable? Amazing Thailand for sure!

In the article I read the 'Perky Painter' was also charged... the article also draws similarities with the 'Songkran strippers'...

Pornchita, if this is an orchestrated stunt, it's OK although I didn't laugh very much with it. If not, wait until the age of maturity (which may take some time with you) before sitting in this panel again: you are disturbing the majority of the opinions and making this Thai-copy-show ridiculous by your poor small-minded frustration!sick.gif

Thai culture at its best. I am thinking of redecorating my Villa, my mates also, and she would do an excellent job in a culturally acceptable way. By the way who was the good looking girl on the panel who doesn't understand Thai culture?

It has a live audience but it's not broadcast live. It would have been edited for TV.

Anyone know what day and time Thailand's Got Talent is on? I will off course watch it from now on....so their publicity stunt obviously worked. Simon Cowell has probably already booked the naked painter.

This Pornchita has really gone overboard in the "nose-job" department. I am sure she is some kind of famous tv personality here in Thailand but this lame nose-job fab here in Thailand needs to stop.

We like your flat baby noses!

Pornchita here looks like she could be a ladyboy. I kept stairing at that BIG jewish nose like it was from the movie Roxanne.

http://www.top10film...tin_roxanne.jpg

2 last girlfriends had nose job, current 1 wants to do it.

Come on save your money on nosejobs and tattoos and make saving account for tomorrow!

Or spend that money on a boob job instead! :D

Culture minister says TGT breast-painting show unacceptable

BANGKOK: -- Culture Minister Sukumol Khunploem yesterday pointed out that Thai society found the Thailand's Got Talent episode on Sunday, featuring a 23-year-old female contestant painting on a canvas with her bare breasts, unacceptable.

The ministry hence will call a meeting with the show organisers, the content editing crew and the content-censoring agency to discuss about this and find solutions together, she said.

Saying the show's evening airtime still had many young viewers, hence exposing children to such image and confusing them, Sukumol said parents had to provide guidance about the image because, even with a claim that this was an artistic expression, there should be some limits in presenting it. She said that the program producer must provide explanation and that this inappropriate content should have been cut as the show wasn't live. She said that she personally astonished by the contestant's show in which the topless contestant also turned to the face the camera.

Ahh yep...but the rest of quality Thai TV is great for children.. :S It's just boobs and not even done to be sexual (well didn't turn me on, but I enjoyed the act)

Shame, the judge doesn't understand, she thinks it's not appropriate Thai culture, but then storms off the show and has a fit in the dressing room. The paint's on her, a talentless girl who decided to do something different and gets two thumbs up for it just made this snob look silly,

OR its all scripted and they are getting paid plenty for it. The 'painter' on the other hand is doing this for nothing other than her 15 seconds of fame. I'm not wondering who the silly one is....

The silly ones are us - those who are commenting - I can afford to be silly - Can you..??

Thai Ministry of Culture concerned over 'inappropriate' topless painting TV show

image_20120618161532FEE02A3E-BBE9-4D1B-3B5BA6AE0331D01E.jpg

CHON BURI , June 18 -- Thailand’s Culture Minister Sukumol Khunploem said Monday that she will seek an explanation from producers of a popular television show following a topless painting show aired on prime-time slot yesterday (June 17).

Mrs Sukumol said she was shocked when viewing a video clip featuring a female contestant painting a canvas using her bare breasts in the renowned ‘Thailand's Got Talent’ show, which is a hotly-debated issue in the social media networks.

The breast painting was too explicit, the minster explained. Thailand's Got Talent, a highly popular programme among all age groups with high audience ratings, was televised Sundays during prime time in the evening when family members, including youth, watched the show.

Mrs Sukumol expressed concern about the part of the programme showing breasts, which she described as ‘inappropriate’ for children, although she sees the whole programme rated as of good quality one and encouraged Thai youth to showcase their outstanding talent.

‘I don’t understand how the production team allowed the show to go on air unedited as the show was not live broadcast,” she said.

Initially, the ministry will ask the programme producers and TV Channel 3 to explain the censorship process and artistic expression as well, and will further discuss the issue with relevant agencies.

The topless painting show, televised Sunday, was performed by a 23-year-old woman who turned to face her canvas, began taking off her shirt and bra, then threw coloured paint on her body and used her body and breasts for painting on the canvas.

The female performer passed the audition to the next round voted by two male judges but she failed to win the heart--and vote--of the sole female judge.

Thailand's Got Talent, a part of the world-renowned British programme ‘Got Talent,’ was brought to the kingdom for the first time in March last year, aiming to look for talented contestants regardless of their age, gender, and type of act. The winner will be awarded prizes worth Bt10 million. (MCOT online news)

Topless painter causes stir on Thai talent show

BANGKOK, June 18, 2012 (AFP) - Thailand's Culture Ministry on Monday demanded an explanation from the producer of a talent show which broadcast a female contestant painting with her bare breasts on national television.

"Society has criticised this show and we need to seek an answer," Culture Minister Sukumol Kunplome told AFP.

The contestant on the Sunday show of "Thailand's Got Talent" removed her shirt and bra before pouring tins of coloured paint on her breasts, which she rubbed on the canvas as the judges watched open-mouthed and the audience cheered.

She was voted through to the next round by two male judges, to the dismay of the sole female judge. The show's producer was not available to comment.

Despite Thailand's flourishing sex industry, officials in the kingdom often criticise raunchy activities in public.

Last week the Culture Ministry said it had filed a complaint to police against US pop diva Lady Gaga for using the Thai flag during her show last month while wearing a skimpy outfit.

Publicity stunt obviously but utterly bizarre nevertheless

What she say is: I will not say this is not good, but you should not do this in Thailand but maybe Italy or something..

I would walk away too, she got no talent, it was so weak the man voted "yes".

Id agree on the part that she really did not demonstrate any particular talent.

I'm sure someone could throw some light on the artistic merit of it all.

Sorry guys, there is couple of sentences from the first judge about Milano and Prague, Czech Republic - do somebody please "translate" for me? Thank you

Did you mean the lady? All I understooth is that she will not say it is not good. But this would be better in Italy to do or somewhere like that...

Tha man could not control themself and voted yes but there was no real talent so the lady got angry and walked away.

I think the female judges reaction was unnecessary. She should be above reactions like that, and should learn to be a little more adult in the way she acts.
