I think it is fairly obvious to all expats that Thailand is fast disappearing under its own bulls**t and it will get worse as there is no one to stop it. Maybe because of this fact, those of us who had decided to live here should, review that decision and look for new opportunities. Don't get dragged into the Thai way of thinking that Thailand is the only place in the world to live.

I totally agree, the country I once loved and built a good business employing many Thai's that support their families is making me think twice about retiring here. It's just not worth dying for. Da Nang Viet Nam is looking better and better everyday and I never see this appalling behaviour there. Even my Thai wife is afraid to go to the beach or to Bangkok. Greed, selfishness, and corruption is ruining this country and making good Thai's look bad.
