Thai Tourist Visa For Myanmar Citizen

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the procedure for getting a double entry tourist visa for a Myanmar citizen? The person is in Khon Kaen and can currently stay until mid July, so she would like to go to Vientiane for a 2X tourist visa next month. Can anyone advise the procedure for an ASEAN (Myanmar) citizen getting a tourist visa. I have "googled" but cannot find anything specific to Myanmar citizens.

Thanks in anticipation

Myanmar citizen can only get Single Entry Thai Tourist Visa in Vientiane/Laos.

They can apply only once for a Single Entry Thai Tourist Visa.

They can have a previous Tourist Visa from Yangoon, but not more thantwo.

The ASEAN concept have not been extended to Myanmar citizen yet.

From Khon Kaen the consulate in Savannakhet Laos across the river from Mukdahan is another option for getting the visa.
