Some might argue this is not a temple in the purest sense of the word but it is called Wat Rong Khun.

So many places in this thread on my list.

That's one of them Shag.

Wat Pha Sorn Kaew (Phetchabun)

that appears to be (for me) quite unique . . . i've never seen anything matching that design anywhere within the Kingdom before. Maybe i need to get further out n about more?

Rmx & Goshawk.

That place is amazing, went there a couple of months back with DAL,arrived there just as the sun was dipping under the mountain and unfortunately only had

a short time to make some pics before it closed for the night. Will definitely go back there one day (early) with an empty memory card and a pocket full of batteries.

If I remember rightly they call it 'The temple on a glass cliff',Will be happy to see how DAL's photos turned out from that evening.

A wider shot of the temple grounds, photo taken from the top level of the amazing pagoda (which is covered in 5 million mosaic tiles).

This temple is run as an orphanage for hundreds of children, the place is very clean and tidy and appears well run and has a reputation of doing great things for kids.

Refreshing to know that there is good temples and good monks out there after all the bad things in the news lately.

Brilliant, MrH! I like the way you think away the colourswink.png
