Will Trump deport the LEGAL Haitian migrants in Ohio as promised?
No doubt the historical status quo of ignoring unpaid expenses will continue at the expense of local administrations who can either cut funding for local communities or increase local taxes. -

Kittirat Na Ranong Chosen as BOT Board Chair Amid Protests
Picture courtesy: Thai Rath Kittirat Na Ranong, a familiar face in Thailand's political landscape as a former deputy premier and finance minister, has been appointed as the chairman of the Bank of Thailand's board. This significant decision was reached by an independent selection committee led by Sathit Limpongpan. At 62, Kittirat, known for his close ties with the ruling Pheu Thai party, was chosen over other notable candidates, namely Kulit Sombatsiri, ex-permanent secretary of energy, and Surapol Nitikraipot, head of the Thammasat University Council. This appointment, however, did not settle without its share of controversy. Today, protests erupted at the Bank of Thailand's headquarters. Two activist groups gathered to voice their dissatisfaction with the Finance Ministry's nomination of Kittirat. The uproar extends further as concerns arise about political influence within the central bank. Former BOT governor Veerathai Santiprabhob took to Facebook, urging citizens to protect the central bank's independence. Veerathai cautioned that political domination could jeopardise Thailand's economic stability and credibility. He warned that unchecked political influence may lead to short-sighted populist policies, prioritising fleeting political gain over sustainable fiscal discipline. This landmark appointment thus opens a wider conversation about political involvement in economic institutions, highlighting the intersection of governance and monetary policy, and its potential impact on Thailand's future, reported Thai PBS. -- 2024-11-11 -

Dry herb vape recommendation anyone?
I’ve noticed that these stainless steel dosing capsules tend to expand slightly over time, likely from the heat of the dry herb vape's oven. When this happens, the lid no longer attaches securely onto the capsule because the mouth of the capsule becomes a bit too wide. To fix this, I’ve found that gently placing the capsule in a vice grip with the mouth facing down towards and between the jaws works best. Then tighten the vice grip screw just a little bit to apply some light pressure to the capsule’s mouth. You only need to bend it back into place slightly, perhaps just a fraction of a millimeter, so that the lid then fits in place snugly again. If I over-squeeze, and the mouth becomes too small for the lid to fit in, then I use a wide flathead screwdriver. I insert the screwdriver head into the capsule and twirl it around gently in a circular motion to apply some slight outward pressure, thus expanding the sides enough for the lid to fit on properly again. With all of these adjustments, go slowly and gently to avoid applying too much pressure in any one direction. -

Will Trump deport the LEGAL Haitian migrants in Ohio as promised?
If they are here based upon false asylum claims they have problems. If their claims are true it should be okay for them. The dems have always ignored, that these honest hard working people are basing their residency upon fraudulent asylum claims that play the system.. Bring in a judge and have their cases heard right on the spot.
