July 19, 201213 yr Thaksin says sister a better prime minister than he was By Ahmad Pathoni JAKARTA: -- Fugitive former Thai leader Thaksin Shinawatra said in an appearance in Jakarta that his sister Yingluck Shinawatra was doing a better job as prime minister than he did. Ms. Yingluck became prime minister a year ago in a landslide election that was widely viewed as a referendum on her brother’s rule, several years after he was deposed in a 2006 military coup. “Yes, so far so good. Better than me, definitely,” Mr. Thaksin said on Tuesday when asked if his sister was a good prime minister. Mr. Thaksin, who now lives in Dubai to avoid imprisonment on a 2008 corruption conviction which he says was politically motivated, was speaking in Jakarta after a seminar that marked the launch of Strategic Review, a new journal there. July 19, 201213 yr Thaksin says sister a better prime minister than he was? I think he mean better looking. I miss her silky white legs, could wait for her return from visiting the German heavy face grandma Chancellor.
July 19, 201213 yr Popular Post I suppose now people can stop thinking that Thaksin was a good prime minister.
July 19, 201213 yr Popular Post What he means is she hasn't been caught with her hand in the pot (yet).
July 19, 201213 yr Popular Post Thaksin says sister a better prime minister than he was Fine, he can bugger off now then.
July 19, 201213 yr on another note nothing wrong with what he said, I doubt very much he means it in an economic sense however as a public figure she is more personable. She is also a better PM than abhist if truth be told on so many levels

She is also a better PM than abhist if truth be told on so many levels A compliment from Thaksin is a compliment from the man who ordered the illegal executions of thousands of innocent people, stole billions from the Thai state, and the man who embraces mass-murderer & mass-torturer Hun Sen as a close personal friend. I think that this compliment Yingluck has received is meaningless because the person giving the compliment is a fugitive criminal with the blood of thousands of innocent people on his greedy criminal hands. And the fact that he admires and is a fan of Yingluck, actually says a lot about her fanbase and the kind of people who look up to her.

July 19, 201213 yr Popular Post Clearly, the measure of success of a PM in Thailand is inversely proportional to the amount of time spent in parliament doing Governmental work!
July 19, 201213 yr That is not much to say about Yingluck. By now everyone should know that Thaksin was not a good PM anyways. He was a corrupt and egotistic person
July 19, 201213 yr Popular Post I can only agree with k. Thaksin. Where he would declare questions off topic or get angry or sue the pants of a press muskito, our current PM Yingluck either tells "it's too early", "my cabinet will explain", "I have to check", "I didn't read it", "I'm not aware", "no one told me", or just simply and elegantly smiles and turns away. A very big improvement indeed
July 19, 201213 yr Popular Post Given how poor Yingluck is, his admission speaks volumes about just how bad he really was.

July 19, 201213 yr The point is to continue brainwashing Thais. For him it is very important to keep her in charge so she will be his puppet. And the brainwashed happy with madam. Sent from my GT-S5830T using Thaivisa Connect App
July 19, 201213 yr I have long been waiting for some arousing news like this. Let's face the truth, it is really hard to be a good politician in this corruption-tainted society.

With the mandate of the Thai people.....
July 19, 201213 yr Abhisit is head of his party and an executive to boot. Yingluck was plucked off the street. Abhisit attends Parliament regularly and dutifully, and when he is doing his job in parliament he participates in unscripted debates and dialogue on issues of importance to Thailand. Yingluck does not do any of those things.
July 19, 201213 yr Popular Post If she's so much better than him why does he keep telling her what to do?
July 19, 201213 yr If she's so much better than him why does he keep telling her what to do? She's better than him because she actually listens to other people.
