My magic mouse does everything but move the pointer,..... It just started playing up today......

Have done the obvious I think, charged batteries, turned on and off etc.... scroll works, right click.... ok

It's a bit of a pain using the track pad to move the cursor and mouse for everything else! ,

Any one any ideas ?

clean the lenses (my mouse have that regulary because of the hairs from my cats)

take off the batteries for a while and repair it ...

that solves issues in about 90%

Thanks Nullx8.... tried several things, but no joy, so took it down to Ibeats and they are sending it to BKK, of course the warranty had just run out! One month, wait... oh well!

Good they keep the serial numbers, as I did not have the receipt...

I needed a second anyway, so will have one for each computer when it comes back....

I think I have to bring it back to Banana IT. I bought it last November, so the warranty should still be on.

Changed the batteries and cleaned the lens, but it does not help.

Will see what they can do. They probably have to send it to BKK and that takes a few weeks...

PS bought a Logitech wireless mouse today, works fine....

Yep, they told me 4 weeks....

Interestingly I got an email from BananaIT / Ibeats (same company,) this morning, confirming they have the mouse and it has been shipped to BKK.

Now to see how long it really takes!!! ....
