I have been looking for the script, they used for 100 years ago, and found this page, where it all is.

When you take colonne 4-picture 4-Lanna thai:

The letters/script in the left colonne, is old thai script-the upper one,is normaly thai script, and the one belowe,is Lanna thai script-written 100 years ago.

The right colonne,-upper is normaly thai script, and the one belowe is Lanna script today.

Thank you Brian!

Now I understand more why I have problem to learn Thai language.

Looking at this table:

post-29230-0-49089000-1343351383_thumb.j

I have most problem with Plosive combined with Alveolar, also with Fricative combined with Glottal.

I suppose VF knows everything about this, even the combination Affricate with Alvelopalatal (that IS a tricky one!)

Looking forward to learn how other members in this forum can handle the Phonetic part of the Thai langiuage!
