brianmarinus Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I have been looking for the script, they used for 100 years ago, and found this page, where it all is. When you take colonne 4-picture 4-Lanna thai: The letters/script in the left colonne, is old thai script-the upper one,is normaly thai script, and the one belowe,is Lanna thai script-written 100 years ago. The right colonne,-upper is normaly thai script, and the one belowe is Lanna script today. https://www.google.co.th/search?q=thai+alphabet&hl=da&prmd=imvnsa&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=tz0RUL2pLYXzrQfLqIHAAQ&ved=0CE4QsAQ&biw=1280&bih=596#q=thai+alphabet&hl=da&sa=X&tbm=isch&prmd=imvnsa&fp=1&biw=1067&bih=497&cad=b&sei=6z4RUNvqGYrTrQff8YHAAQ&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&sei=P0URUOOYD8fwrQeUxIDwCA
svenivan Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Thank you Brian! Now I understand more why I have problem to learn Thai language. Looking at this table: I have most problem with Plosive combined with Alveolar, also with Fricative combined with Glottal. I suppose VF knows everything about this, even the combination Affricate with Alvelopalatal (that IS a tricky one!) Looking forward to learn how other members in this forum can handle the Phonetic part of the Thai langiuage!
brianmarinus Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 Maby this could be interresting to: http://www.laomanuscripts.net/en/resources/langscripts#4
