Mountain Bike Accessories Shop Locations

Hi everyone,

With work commitments keeping me away from CR for extended periods of time, I was wondering if anyone knows of the best place/s to buy some LED Headlights & Taillights. I am also after a bike computer eg: CatEye brand. I would prefer not to buy online, as I would like to do some window shopping when zi return home.

Any info appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Garry

Best stocks are held by Northern Bike. It's about 5km north from Mengrai monument on the left just one hundred metres from the new west inner ring road.

As a curiosity, what brand of mountain bike do my fellow MB owners ride?

Where I work I have a Gary Fisher Tarpon hardtail. Being an aluminum frame helps as well.

I ride a Klein Attitude hardtail. Very light for a MTB at just a tad over 10Kg. Rarely use it since I became a roadie though. Anyone interested? PM for price

I went to Northern bikes this morning and as discussed, it was easy enough to find, though the road works are creating their own hazards for U-Turning traffic and vice-versa.

Well what hasn't the shop got. Not much it would seem. Everything I was after they had and the lady helping me out was more than helpful in her sales service. As I found out from her, Northern Bikes are road bike specialists, they seem to dwell into MTB territory with great gusto though. I have never seen so much high end Shimano gear in my life. The Trek hard tail assortments were impressive. Then I spotted a bunch of the latest Gary Fisher MTB and then I laid my eyes on a full suspension Gary Fisher. I think I'll have to wait awhile before I can cough up 6 figures for it :-(

Anyway, great shop and helpful staff.

Lol, I've seen them before and to be honest nothing special. Like Harley Davidson, you're paying for the name.

Another big plus of an owner operated shop like Northern Bike is that you know Peak will be working on your bike himself. I have always trusted him to install and set things up properly and have never been disappointed.smile.png
