If you mean an eye test of vision, most glasses shops do them for free. Cost of glasses varies with the shop, the type of lens (e.g. bifocal vs not bifocal), prescription and above all the frame you select. The more modern opticians (chains, those in malls etc) try to push expensive imported frames.

I find I do best at small "Mom and Pop" style opticians.

if you want an actual eye exam by an opthmalmologiost (glaucoma testing, and/.or examination of the retina) that will run anywhere from a few hundred to mayb e 1,500 baht depending in the hospital.
