What's up bro!

I see. Tried to use online translator; with different translation results. One was 'What burns?'. That's probably 'Thai' for 'What's up bro!' smile.png

What's up? What's going on? What's happening? How's it hanging bro!

Pronounced jow ngai jaa?

ว่าไงจ้า - wa-ngai-ja - however when spoken fast, to an untrained ear it can sound a little like "wai-ja"

Pronounced jow ngai jaa?

Nope. Waa Ngai Jaa.

The จ้า part is for chicks, right?

Right!!

ว่าไง means : What's have you got to say ? จ้า is a particle used by female speakers as a softner.

So it can be used in a few situations such as :

Asking a familiar how one is.

What do you think about what the speaker has just said ?

Or. What did that person say about ..... ?

ว่าไง is a phrase that's covered in Benjawan Poomsan Becker's Thai Phrases book with CD. It's a pretty fun thing to study/ listen to.

Wa^ - ngai - ja^ mean what do you thinking?

It short word from Khun kid wa^ yang rai ?

Ja^ จ๊ะ it same krub or ka but polite word. We like to use for close friends or family.

Waa ngai djaa

Waa ngaj tjaa

Waa ngaj tchaa

Waa ngay dyaa

Waa ngay jaa

There is no right way to write it in Latin. Let's just say it pronounced ว่าไงจ้า
