Nope, UK passports cannot have pages added anywhere sad.png

I'm getting 3-4 years out of a 48 pager :(

Yep, I was in the same boat, still had 6 years left but full. No choice but to replace with a new one. Just make sure you go for the max 48 pages, you have to pay a little more but its worth it.

They will not give you the 6 years ....ie your next PP will not be valid for 16 years, If I remember correctly you get something like 9 months maximum....why dont you have a look at the link Lopburi3 provided its has all the info you need

From the direct.gov.uk website

When you should apply

Apply to renew your passport if there are nine months or less before it expires:

  • IPS will add the unused time (up to nine months) on to your new 10 year passport
  • some countries ask for six months validity on your passport
  • you should only book travel when your passport is valid

Refunds cannot be paid for time left on an unused passport.

That can be misleading - you can renew at any time - it is just you will not receive refund and new expiration date will not add more than 9 months to the 10 year validity.

Can a I year non imm O visa be transferred from old passport to new ?

Very little space left in current passport so I`ll also be needing a new one in the not too distant future.

Thanks.

A visa cannot be transferred. You have to use both passports showing old one with valid visa on entry.

An extension of stay from immigration can be transferred.

True, but at least a quote to the maximum time given
