Closing Ceremony.

Man it was do lame. One of the worst i have ever seen.

Both opening and closing were done really bad.

Thoughts?

At times shambolic.......at times superb.......what came in between the ceremonies was outstanding though.

Haven't seen the closing yet but the opening was terrific. Our history and glad Brunnel was the focus. Sure the world will perhaps not understand but us Brits will or should.

Being as the Olympic games is built on a hope at least of being drug free, it was surprising to see so many druggies and ex druggies performing at the closing ceremony.

The march round by Athletes should be done in bikinis for the woman and speedos for the men.

Much better for the viewing public.

There could be an interactive thing going on where people text in scores out of ten. Team with highest cumulative points (divided by athletes) wins an extra GOLD medal!

No one can beat the Brits at civil or military spectacles...

I enjoyed the ceremonies but agree with George Burns observation some years age re the Oscars; "90 mins of fun & exitement crammed into 3 and a half hours!"

The fireworks lighting etc were superb. But most of the music content did nothing for me. As I mostly watched Rory McIlroy running away with the PGA I fast forwarded through much of the musical content.

Thoroughly agree with a comment from one reviewer that the closing ceremony was all that he feared the opening ceremony would be. a chance for Victoria Beckham to promote her fashion line and George Michael to promote his new single.

caught a bit of the closing and all I can say was the audio seemed horrible to me. Couldn't imagine seeing a concert in Wembley unless on acid or something.
