Many farangs are getting a bit old now 65 + and an enlarged prostate is quite a common occurrence and increased urination is the result, and the worst part is several nightly visits to the bathroom.

Those nightly bathroom visits disturbs the sleeping, and continuously disrupted nightly sleep has serious health effects on both the body and the brain.

Some fellows had TURP surgery and that had unfortunately several bad side effects which resulted in incontinence, that is to say losing control of urination, a shocking disaster indeed.

In order to avoid any surgery with possible site effects It would be beneficial to receive from others on this forum advice on medication, supplements, nutrition, type of exercise, etc ... that have been effective on enlarged prostate symptoms.

Nowadays surgery is a last resort in managing BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia). Medications are used instead. Some people also report success w3ith the herb saw palmetto.

If you do a search on this forum you will find many discussions of treatments for this.

Important to distinguish between BPH, prostate cancer, and chronic prostatitis - 3 very different conditions all of which can feature an enlarged prostate.
