I recently upgraded my 2 year old Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro 13-inch (early 2010 model) to 8GB of memory and a 256 GB Samsung 830 SSD. I have to say I'm impressed - the boot times are <10 seconds and shutdown is instant! I've also added Mountain Lion. The SSD was just amazing - the machine flies now!

If it's not too nosey can I ask how much did the upgrade cost you ? Where are you based in Thailand ? Did you do the upgrade yourself or get someone, business/shop to do the install. Thanks for the information, although happy with my MBP at the moment always thinking about improvements.
