Everyone loves pie and, judging by the size of some the farang I see while searching for my next best friend at the mall, the local CR expat community are no different. And as there are a few folk who are big fans of the lovely sky we have here in The Rai I thought I'd kill two Somchai with one stone.

While out on the Shrek today lording it over those less fortunate than myself, I looked up and was treated to a gift from buddha, a pie in the sky! I quickly took out my wife's Iphone 6 I'd borrowed and snapped away, one of my amazing pics is below, I hope you like it!

Please feel free to post your own pics of any pie in the sky you see while out and about, in fact any sweet or savoury snack would be worthy of a pic. But don't worry if you don't have a camera handy when a pie/cake/cookie is spotted, I'll update this thread every now and then so you don't miss anything.

Obviously you'll need to walk around with your nose in the air instead of your eyes glued to the floor hunting for dropped baht coins and trying not to step in something nasty but don't let that stop you

The bloody things got a Green handle and a black anodised blade. need a miracle to find it , unless we have a metal Detecting Geek in our midst.

Actually Jubby I'm a bit depressed myself today as well (definitely not due to alcohol though), I just tried to join another local forum so I could improve the lives of the disgruntled and envious members there too but it seems I'm barred from joining!!!

I don't think many people really quit Thaivisa, They are either thrown out and just stop posting but it's a pity what's happening to our little forum here. Surely there's room enough for everyone and even another forum.

So there I was, sitting on my throne in my office while listening to my favourite song of all time (link below) when I happened to look out of the window and I saw another beautiful pie in the sky. I know some of you may have seen it too but I am probably the only one who managed to get a decent shot of it, perhaps because of the quality of my Canikon infinity-zoom camera my wife recently bought for me while I was waiting for her in Starbucks

I'm blessed to have such a beautiful, amazing wife and so lucky she isn't an ex-bg like most other expats wives, she must have been the only village girl living in BKK that wasn't working in a bar when I met her, how fortunate! Sometimes when I tell other expats I meet that their wife used to be a whore they don't take it too kindly, I really don't understand why, maybe that's why I'm so misunderstood

Sorry, I digressed, back to the topic at hand which is the pie. The reason I looked out of my window was because a couple of pesky soi dogs had wandered onto my property. I've told them numerous times in faultless Thai (I'm fluent by the way) that they should stay off my land but they won't listen, I might have to resort to beating them like one of my neighbours does. It's time to take the Shrek out now as I'm in training, I hope to join the next Hash and I'd like to try and keep up with the testosterone group who are always at the front, usually I walk with the ladies and talk about myself but I think the guys might need some relationship advice and who better to give it them than me?!
