August 22, 201213 yr Hello all, I need to get one or two dental implants. I live in Singapore, and the price quoted to get it done in Singapore was close to 20000 baht! I am considering doing in BKK as I had heard it is considerably less expensive to have implants there, and the work can be world class. Would be interested to hear from anyone about their recent expierience/cost to have implants done in BKK. Thanks in advance.
August 22, 201213 yr Surely not 20,o000 baht (USD $67), that is way to low, it costs much more than that here and I assume also in Singapore. See this recent thread http://www.thaivisa....nt#entry5581475 And you might also want to check out Roomchang Dental Hospital in Phnom Penh http://www.roomchang.com/servicepage/oresubmenu_slug_dental_implants And can email the Bangkok Dental hospital for a price quote [email protected]

Still sounds pretty cheap to me, although I haver never had the procedure done myself. Sophon
August 22, 201213 yr Guess you missed a comma for Singapore... Check out BIDC, cost is 75kTHB (3kS$) per Implant. Absolutely recommended. Professor at the drill.... http://www.bangkokdentalcenter.com/
August 22, 201213 yr I'm pretty sure you got the wrong quote. There is no dental clinic in Thailand that will give you an implant for 20000 baht, let alone Singapore.
August 30, 201213 yr Author Sorry all, my conversioon was wrong. Singapore wants to charge about TB100,000(SGD4000) for one implant.
September 5, 201213 yr Dental implants will be of low cost in BKK compared to cost for dental implants in USA. But my point in that case you need to spend that much of money in traveling also. I mean you have to spend that much of money in either cases.
September 6, 201213 yr Coming from Singapore (as OP is), costs of travel are small and who knows, maybe he's like a Thai vacation. I believe implant costs in Phnom Penh are even lower than in Thailand.
September 6, 201213 yr Yeah that could be possible, I mean going for vacations in Thai and getting dental implants done.... Was wondering are there any special discount dental implants for tourists there?
