Do You Know Some Movie Community To Find Subtitles Or Soundtrack In Thai And English?

Featured Replies

I was looking around internet some of this communities and i didn't find, only few subtitles.

I want to look movies with my thai gf together, the idea is get handly the subtitles in thai or english, since both we are not so good with the different english acent or slang.

In latinoamerica have a lot of communities, the subtitles are not in a flat spanish, spanish from spain, mexico, argentina, chile etc the soundtrack the same the translate are from spain and latinoamerica (usually from mexico) since spain people speak with a strong use of "Z" and old terms/slang.

I was thinking if here have so much piracy in Lotus, Big c and every where, where they download or find the subtitles?

Maybe with some examples we might understand exactly what you are talking about?

Most films - but not most Thai films even though they generate English subs for theatrical releases - are released officially on DVD here in Thailand with both Thai subs and Thai soundtracks.

Pirated DVDs are likely just copies of officially released DVDs, assuming they aren't telesync or video-camera copies.

There are many, many, many Thai torrent sites with full ISOs, so pretty easy to get just about anything with Thai subs and/or soundtracks.

While it is somewhat easy to rip subs off the DVD it is probably just easier to get the entire ISO? And synching them to various video rips can be challenging. Fansubs seem pretty dorky.

If you're downloading movies from the internet using torrents and want to add subtitles to them, try using www.subtitles.com. After installing this free service you right click on your downloaded movie icon and in the drop down box that appears, hover over 'look for subtitles' then select the language of your choice for your subtitles. To get your subtitles to play along with the movie, make sure the title of your subtitles is exactly the same as the movie apart from the last 3 letters eg The Great Escape.avi (movie) The Great Escape.srt (subtitles). When you select your movie, the subtitles will automatically play.

I get a lot of subs from www.1080ip.com

Thanks for the answer 1080ip.com looks like a nice thai forum for subtitles :)

A example of the problem that we have is with movies like Sherlock Holmes, the movie is great but the accent is so difficult to understand and probably with so much old english words, so both together we need to read she in thai and me in english in the worse case in spanish... another example it's "Altered States" (1980) old movie with very smart conversations and full of science terms... Underground movie should be impossible to find in thai, but maybe have some subs fan translate since translate it's easy for thai/english speakers.

english movies and subs not problem, but movies with thai speak and english subs or english speak and thai subs it's my problem.

The service that you describe it's very nice but http://www.subtitles.com looks like a parking page, are you sure is subtitles.com?

There are lots of sites, just google "free movie subtitles download" for a selection.

Most of the Subs written in Thai can be really poor translations. If your girl speaks and read English then having English subs to English movies is always the best option.

http://subscene.com/ for SD/HD Movies

http://www.addic7ed.com/ for HDTV (You wont find better subs for American TV)

Hope it helps!

Check when you download a movie if it has subs or not in the files tab. I use ahashare.com and 1337x.org.
