Hi there- I am in need for a good dentist. The tooth that was declared perfectly OK by my home dentist desintegrated in Thailand just 4 weeks later. I am looking at root canal (I think), a screw and a cap (crown)- if the remains are strong enough. Unfortunately I am sitting in the sticks. The three nearest bigger places are Bun Kan on the Mekong, Nong Khai (about 90km away) and Udon Thani (3 hours drive). I will be going south towards year end and could stop in Bangkok (found BKK recommendations in the forum). I will stay 70km south of Surat Thani near Sichon/Khanom. I would hugely appreciate if someone could recommend a good dentist in either of the places, a local one would be preferred as I could go soon! Thank you very much Stefan

Other TV members have reported favorably on AEK Udon hospital dentistry department.

Or if you can travel to Kon Khaen, the dental clinic at KKU University Hospital would probably be the best source of care in the region.
