Buying Emulsion Paint In Phuket

Featured Replies

I need to buy some paint, a lot of paint! As its a lot i need to buy, im going to try to research prices a little.

I know theres loads of paint shops all over the island, some are chains. Does anybody know of or have any experience in buying paint here at a reasonable price? I've recently learned from buying other building materials here that the difference in pricing of the same product in different shops can be unbelievable.

Anyone recommend anywhere? Thanksthumbsup.gif

If you ask for emulsion paint, you are going to get a lot of blank stares, and or something you don’t want. If you are in need of an acrylic or latex house paint, ask for that.wai.gif

I've just bought a load of interior and exterior paint from of all places "supercheap", it's PPC brand and covers great, for the large drum of interior as 600baht, exterior 700baht, i even think they sell specialist exterior multi function 7 in 1 paints, either way it'll be the cheapest in town, defiantly worth a look, hope that helps

Thanks very much, i'll take a look next time im in town. Cheers

Go Dulux, or Joton. The most expensive paint is cheapest in the long-run.

I agree with KB to get the best paint possible if you want something long term. Have a look at the housing forum here on Thaivisa as there are quite a few threads about various paints available.

maybe good advice from KB & SP, i use PPM paint from super cheap in a business setting, that gets heavy usage and for a none expensive brand it really holds up to the wear.
