Thank you for the information. I have just a couple of questions. I may need to apply for a re-entry permit on a 2 entries Tourist Visa (Italian passport). The re-entry permit will be probably needed on the 1st entry into Thailand, that is during the first 60 days stay in the country. My two questions are:

1. Would a re-entry permit be granted in this situation?

2. What is, the maximum number of days allowed outside the country when asking a re-entry permit on a Tourist Visa?

1. Normally yes. But you might get an immigration officer that tells you to use your 2nd entry.

2. Re-entry permit is only valid up to your permit to stay date.

I just wanted to see if you can still obtain a re-entry permit from BKK airport. I see that Maestro's last post on 2013-06-27 02:43:07 said it's still available. I was hoping to get confirmation. I know it was only 3 months ago, but TIT. Anything can change in 3 months.

For the past week I've been trying to access the online queue via the link given at the front of this thread. Nothing. It seems the page has disappeared. Does this mean that in practice, the online queue is no longer available or is it just a badly maintained website? Any other links please?

A little bit off topic, anyone had a flight out of swampy around 9 on a Sunday morning? Is it busy or "quiet" then? Will the re-entry desk be OK to use around 7-8am on a Sunday?

Just arrive early to check-in for your flight and you should be all right in getting the re-entry permit on time.
