Has anyone been here yet ? It appeared to be open when I went past in a taxi on the way to the airport ther other day.

This new IT Mall is the old, but refurbished, "Laksi Plaza" on the corner of Chaeng Wattana Road and Vipavadi-Rangsit Road. I haven't looked in yet but I heard that it was open, although I was told that many of the shops were still to be occuupied.

most taxi drivers will not know it yet as IT Square , but laksi ( lak see ) plaza will get you there.

Not a huge amount of stores yet - though there seems to be a representative of all the major laptop brands there.

Laksi Plaza has been a total disaster since it opened several decades ago. I would not expect much from it.

Sorry, but isn't that what I just said?

It's ok - it's not exactly Fortune or Pantip yet, but give it another year to fill up and it will be pretty good. No sexy movie salesman at all. Actually I can't remember seeing any nock-off stuff.

There aren't any APEC meetings coming up are there?
