Just looked out of my window, Thappraya Rd looks like a river running towards

Jomtien Hanuman Statue.

Lightening strikes seem to be right in the area, there's a farang couple standing at the edge

of the road, the male is topless and barefooted playing around in the torrent of water, absolutely

crazy!

Thappraya Rd has been ripped up from last night's rain just before the Hanuman Statue,

major roadworks have been started since the morning, exactly the same part ripped up last

September 2011.

You would have thought that a 2year old road would have been able to withstand all the rain,

but not only it ripped up after a few months from construction last year, but the repair has just

blown up again this year.

Anyway, if your thinking of driving in the area, then expect delays.
